• Everyday a stone in my pocket.

Finding the joy in everyday. A brilliant orange sunrise this morning at Cook and Dallas; and yet the Breakwater was surrounded in foggy grey with a light sprinkle of rain. Our dip was lovingly met with song, sighs and laughter. What a great way to start my morning! I’m all smiles.

Finding the joy in everyday. Today a grey haze of a sky on my way to the Breakwater. Slow rain. Just the kind that promises to wet your eye glasses but nothing else. I made sure I left them in the car. I was a bit early for our swim, so I waited for the…

Finds big the joy in everyday. Singing and swimming in the rain in the Salish Sea. I love those head umbrellas! I’m the one in the white toque which is so big that it almost covers my eyes! It was really amazing swimming in the rain which felt warm in comparison to the water. 8…

Finding the joy everyday. A gorgeous sunrise this morning and washing machine waves. We witnessed the sun rising in the east casting gold over the waves. We were a five-some today. Much merriment and pure joy of friends being together dipping in the Salish Sea. And did I mention, the frost was thick on the logs with…

Finding the joy in everyday. Inspite a very cold, frosty morning, we had a glorious sunrise of pink and orange welcome us to the sea. Everyone was cast in golden light as they left the water to towel, dress quickly, and return home to a nice, hot cuppa. And so another day begins anew.

Finding the joy in everyday. Having fun this afternoon making a small mock up piece to capture the fun of this mornings swim. A number of swimmers love watching the Olympics and thought it would be fun to prepare for an entry into synchronized swimming! All in jest of course! We have our own moves;…

  • Everyday a stone in my pocket.

Finding the joy in everyday. Every morning after my swim I sit with a hot milk chai and my cats, Pablo, and sometime, Jane, in front of the fireplace. Pur-fect! This is 100% total contentment. Life is good, and all the noise of the world dissolves momentarily, as I sip my chai, pet my cats,…
