Finding the joy in every day.

There is snow on the mountains today. Lots of water folk down at the Breakwater today. Stayed in 15 minutes this morning speaking to a woman from England studying at UVic for a semester. Went for breakfast at the Diner and got to meet a few more Dipper/swimmers. Lovely group of people. Learned of the death of one of the swimmers on Christmas Day. She had written me a beautiful note on my 100 days of swimming in the Salish Sea. I had met her a few times. Humbled at the gift of life I take for granted everyday.
