I am struck by the beautiful designs that this People wear on a daily basis. Nature plays an important role in what they consider beautiful and culturally symbolic of strength, virility, power, rites of passage, etc. Body modification and decoration always uses local materials and resources; often emulating nature in some way. The face painting is done with ochre and butterfat to adorn their bodies from head to toe. Fascinating. Artistic. Ancient. Resourceful.
