Finding the joy in every day. 5/24/24
Sometimes, Facebook fills a void: great pics, thoughtful verse, humour, recipes, spontaneity and lots of art. It allows me to talk to friends far away and share special moments. During covid it was a real life-saver. It allowed many of us to stay connected.
There are downsides, like too many advertisements, scams, sometimes rudeness, and misinformation. One can just ignore these negatives; with one flick they can be erased, discarded, forgotten. Simple as that.
Some days, I feel like Alice in Wonderland; fall into a hole, ending up in the Louvre in Paris; walking a cherry tree lined street in Tokyo; hiking in Iceland through valleys of vibrant colours; riding a camel in the deserts of Morocco. Pure wanderlust. Or laughing at the silliness of a great photo.
