Finding the joy in every day. 5/21/24
Lady in Moss, sculpture in Beacon Hill Park. She is so peaceful in the shade. A friend walks the park every day and takes photos. She captured the Lady snoozing in the shade. When you come across her in the shade it is always surprising. Beacon Hill Park is such a treasure of a park. Lately there has been fields of blue camus. I bike through to get to Dallas Road and down to Ross Bay to swim. Sometimes meeting a stray peacock on the bike path; this always seems so exotic to me. One day when I was at the Root Cellar, I was greeted by five peacocks lulling around the veggie bins. They are a bit territorial; I apologized; walked slowly, hoping not to alarm them in their gaggle. Definitely, my giggle for the day.
