Finding the joy in every day. 5/20/24

This photo intrigues me. It changes my mood. It uplifts. Those colours of orange, red and yellow are a wash of energy. The soaring height of the trees mimicked by the height of the walls, cathedral-like. The furniture dwarfed by the height.
When I am in the Salish Sea, I experience the water and sky in a similar way. They wash through me and awaken something old. I cannot put a name to the feeling. In a crazy way, I feel a part of that ocean. It’s the mystery that keeps me coming back every day to experience the Salish Sea enfold me in its body, gently caress, and sometimes rock. I feel very small but protected.
