Finding the joy in everyday. 5/10/24
Yesterday, I got to model clothing for a local Women’s clothing store called Bodacious. It was so much fun trying on clothes made in Turkey, Israel and Australia.
Alembika is the name of the Turkish company. I absolutely adored their fashion sense. Big bold black and white stripes on crinkle fabric. Harem pants with a top that was shaped asymmetrical. A big straw hat. I wore a pair of black oxfords that have a lacy leather detail; the photographer asked if this was my style. Yes. If I could afford it! In real life, no. She said I had an artist flare about me. Such a lovely compliment. For the rest of the day I floated in a cloud of loving my body and how I felt in those clothes. Did I mention it was windy…and the wind played with the material blowing, swaying and teasing. Iconic Marilyn Monroe.
