Finding the joy every day. 5/2/24
I love strawberries and mangoes; Sunshine in a bowl. One can’t help smile, as taste buds go on holiday, as the sweetness of the fruit hits your tongue. And the colours are riotous, bold and inviting. The pleasure is extended to the preparation. The cutting into a mango and its gooey, slippery, fruit released into a bowl. You are left with the large pit that you must suck all the juice and flesh from in childlike glee. Then, the slicing of strawberries. a promise of more sunshine in their heart shape slices. Yummmmmmm. Sunshine in a bowl. Enjoy. This brings me joy.
