Finding the joy in every day. 4/27/24
The first June we were in our condo, we were smitten with the beautiful chose of landscaping for the building. The Japanese Stewartia-monadelpha tree is outside my art room window. It has the most beautiful white blossom with a delicate honey perfume. In the fall the leaves turn red and the seed pods are like small wooden bells. Stunning in all seasons.
I love working at my art table and enjoying the presence of this tree. I share the table with my two felines who are always on the lookout for feathery friends.
Currently, the tree has just set its flower buds and I look forward to its big reveal this summer and fall. Joy comes to me in the promise of the seasons. What season blesses you with the promise of joy? Leave a comment and subscribe.
