Everyday a stone in my pocket.

Finding the joy in every day. 4/21/24

Today is my partner’s birthday. In 1990 I gave her a surprise birthday when she turned 50. Invited all the people in her address book; turned out she hadn’t seen most of them in ten years. It was a surprise for everyone. We have been together for 34 years now. Crazy true. We are each other’s “stone”: solid and true.

    I met someone from Victoria while I still lived in Toronto. She impressed me so I thought Victoria must be a good place. Later I moved there but with no available rentals on Vancouver Island I moved to Saturna Island, which I liked but getting to work from Saturna to Victoria didn’t work out so well. What did I know? But I did find Al there. That was 39 years ago. ML
