Finding the joy in every day. 4/9/24
Today I drove out to Cadboro Bay to pick up a purchase. The drive was beautiful. The willows are dressed in their fussy lime-green catkins. The arbutus are full of small bouquets of flowers. The alders are sending their leaves out. Big cumulous clouds and blue sky melting into the Salish Sea; and then, out of nowhere, a cloud-burst of rain.
Windy with gales at Ross Bay creating waves and a chill. We opted to sit and enjoy the sun today. We watched two women run in and out. I am not sure it would register as a dip, but they definitely had a cold-water thrill. There was lots of giggling and shrieking. Where will you find your joy? Please subscribe and leave a comment.
