Our morning ritual includes coffee, crumpets/toast, jam. And then, the cats line up for a brush. Usually Jane Austin Manytoes gets the first brush of the morning after lap sitting with me. Then, Pablo Picatso gets his brush after a few bites of chicken stew pate. This is a standard morning in our household. Every now and then there will be a swirl of crazy cat time led by Jane chasing around the apartment with a homemade mouse. Then…a big collapse on the floor, followed by a brief nap. A very content household. Fed. Groomed. Exercised.
