Today is a crystal blue sky and promise of 17 degree Celsius/ My kit is ready for a swim and I am searching for sunscreen. I am loving this streak of blue sky and warm temps. I know, however, that March is a cruel mistress and she can throw a mixed bag at us this month. In spite of that, the trees are waking up and I have seen many buds begin to spread their leaves. So exciting this time of year when earth seems to waken from its slumber.
The ocean is still 8.5 degrees Celsius but this will begin to warm to its 15 degree summer high. Our resident otter family will be family planning soon. Last year at this time we met the young’ns climbing the rocks and chattering long stories to their Mom. I am hoping for more sightings this year. Last week when we swam my partner said an otter swam right behind us! I guess they are getting use to us invading their space.
