Finding the joy in everyday life
Day 12 2/12/24
The sky is white-grey today. The sun is trying hard to poke out. No wind. A promise of an excellent dip in the Salish Sea. What are you looking forward to today? Please share.

It turns out I have already done something quite spectacular. I decided last week that I should get up and go on the dawn dog walk with my husband, Maisy and Niko, into the farmlands that surround us. It is very foggy in the morning right now and it makes the lush green landscape even more beautiful. Trees are still leafless with dark, wet bark. They descend into the white marking the depth of space into disappearance.

Sounds spectacular. I love mist in the morning particularly when the sun breaks through the veil. There is something ethereal about the process. Thank you for sharing Melinda. You are my first comment. Love you.
