Finding the joy in everyday life

Today is a steel grey day, but I am looking at a bare Japanese maple outside our patio door. Its skeleton like fine lace; its limbs slim. A perfect perch for birds that visit. Our cats entertained by their limb hoping. And I, by the cat’s bum twitching and chatter. Just an everyday thing that brings joy. What brings you joy?
